SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The company stage established for intervention experiences a superior inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
